Beloved of the Lord:

Today is Thursday, 23 October, in the year of our Lord 2025. The scheduled services are as-follows:

• Thursday (today): 6:30 PM, Evening Prayer, Holy Communion, Soup and Study.
• Friday: 9:00 AM, Mass, with the Gregorian Canon.
  Immediately following, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
• Saturday: 10:00 AM, Holy Communion.
  11:00 AM, Ordinations to the Priesthood for Good Shepherd Parrish (we are hosting them, as they've no permanent home, yet).
• Sunday: 8:30 & 10:00, Mass, The Feast of Christ the King.
  Immediately following the 10:00 Mass, monthly Parish Brunch, at County Grill, on the George Washington Highway.

Please join us for the Parish Brunch! This is a wonderful time of fellowship, and good food. We vary the location monthly, as a rule.

And the hits just keep on coming ... a week after the Canterbury Communion was shattered by the corruption of the Church of England, Archbishop Stephen Wood, recently elected as the Third Archbishop of the ACNA, has been brought-up on Presentment (ecclesiastical charges of wrong-doing) for just about everything that one could imagine, including (but not limited-to) sexual and financial misconduct. We must pray for the ACNA. They are not for us, for all of the obvious reasons, but there are Christians among them, of this I am convinced. Even if there weren't, we would be obligated to pray for their salvation, make no mistake.

As with all of these major events, they are tragic, and demand our Christian charity, but do not affect our Parrish. As we have always done, Saint Matthew's will stand firm in the storm. Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might! I remain
