Beloved of the Lord:
Today is Tuesday, 17 February, in the year of our Lord 2026. The scheduled services are as-follows:
- Tuesday: 5:30 PM, Shrove Tuesday, NO SERVICES, Pancake Supper from 5:30 PM 'til 7:00 PM.
- Wednesday: 12:10 PM & 6:30 PM, Great Litany in-Procession, A Penitential office, the Imposition of Ashes, with Mass.
- Thursday: 6:30 PM, Mass, Lenten Feria, followed by Soup & Study.
- Friday: 9:00 AM, Mass, Lenten Feria, with Gregorian Canon.
Immediately following, Stations of the Cross, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament after. - Saturday: 10:00 AM, Lenten Feria, Holy Communion.
- Sunday: 8:30 & 10:00 AM, Mass, Lent I. After 10:00 Mass, Parish Brunch, Marker 20, Hampton.
Well, time races-by us. Tuesday this-coming will be Shrove Tuesday. Pancakes and sausages for all; $10.00 per family, $5.00 per individual, in the Parrish Hall. There will be NO OTHER SERVICES on that night.
PLEASE GET YOUR PALMS FROM LAST YEAR to the Parrish, asap! I'll be burning them Wednesday morning, so you've less than a week to get them here. Shrove Tuesday will be your last chance to deliver them to the Parish.
Ash Wednesday services will be offered twice that day, to give greater opportunity for all to attend. These will be at 12:10 and 6:30 PM. If you cannot attend either of these services, please let me know, so that another time may be arranged. Great Lent is upon us.
