I'll be in Tennessee over this weekend, at my Cousin's wedding. This has caused the shifts in our normal schedule. Other than on Monday, you'll see above that we will return to the usual routine next week.
Although the sound and fury amongst our Roman Brethren over the SSPX Consecrations continues apace, generally there is quiet in the entirety of the Church Catholic. Madmen and politics still run amok in the Anglican ranks; the Eastern Orthodox persist in their internecine warfare. Speaking of the end-times seems rather dramatic, but who can say?
What then remains to be done, or, put another way, what is left to us? Simply put, faith. We continue, day-after day, to do as we are asked by the Father. Whether our Lord returns to us tomorrow, or a thousand years from tomorrow, is truly irrelevant to a practicing Christian, so long as we are, indeed, practicing our faith.
It is not for us to know the full will of the Father, but to do so much of it as has been made known ~ revealed ~ to us. Each of us has a role to play in His Kingdom. If you do not know yours, seek counsel of Holy Church, of your earthly Fathers in God. This is a part of their role, in the Church Militant. I remain
in His praise,
The Rt. Rev'd T. L. Crowder
